Help us test it, the most detailed lifting tracker

logr is a workout logger built on hypertrophy research, for evidence-based lifters. It records every variable that changes what the numbers from a lift mean, and shows how they add up over months.

iPhone only, delivered through TestFlight. One email when your invite is ready. Nothing else, ever.

the problem

Numbers that mean nothing.

What most logs keep

Incline Press · 100 kg x 8

What happened

Incline Press · Plate Loaded · Prime

peg 3 · seat 4 · neutral grip · tempo 3-1-1-0 · bilateral

100 kg x 8 · 1 RIR

A log that can't show you any of this isn't telling you much. Lifters who care about that outgrow their tracker.

what logr does

The detail, and the long view.

First, the basics, because a logger has to get overload right: last session's numbers beside every set, rest timers for each set type, PRs flagged when you finish, templates, and a plate calculator that knows which peg to load for the resistance profile you want.

The detail

01

Machine-level history

Every set is tied to the equipment model you used, by load type, brand and model. History and equipment settings are kept per machine, and one exercise can be compared across two of them. logr is the only tracker that does this.

02

Executions

An execution is the way you perform a lift: a grip, a body position, a technique. Each one keeps its own history. Sets can be bilateral or unilateral, and tempo is logged in four phases.

03

Any exercise, any equipment

Exercises get invented all the time, and old ones get done on machines built for something else. Create your own, link it to a real machine, and record the attachment, GymPins and cuffs included.

The long view

04

Sets per muscle group

This is the weekly number we put first. Warmups never count. Set a target range per muscle group and logr marks what falls under it and what goes over. Total volume is in there too, but it isn't the score.

05

Splits as a schedule

Plan by weekday or as a repeating cycle of any length, rest days included. Planned days sit on your calendar, the next workout waits on the dashboard, and a missed day can re-flow or stay put.

06

Progress over months

logr charts each exercise and each machine, flags PRs with an estimated one-rep max, and shows your average RIR or RPE, how often each muscle gets trained, and your weeks across the year. One hard session doesn't move any of them much.

Switching is quick. logr imports your history from existing tracking apps, and it can read a workout template out of any screenshot, wherever it came from. Friends are optional. Accounts are private by default, and a post has to come from a workout you finished in the last two hours, so the feed stays honest.

You don't have to be advanced to use it, or call yourself a science-based lifter. The simpler workout view is weight and reps, the advanced view adds the rest, and you can switch anytime.

what we're asking

What being a tester actually means.

Invites go out in small batches before the App Store release. If you train for hypertrophy and already log every session, or have been wanting to start, you're exactly who we want.
